Montenegrin table tennis player Luka Bakić failed to advance to the semifinals of the international tournament in Vladislavovo, Poland.
Today, in the quarterfinal match, category S10, he was defeated by Brazilian Gabriel Antónios De Oliveira 3:2 (8:11, 11:9, 11:4, 7:11 and 16:14).
In a match with a lot of turnovers, Bakić led 9:3 in the second set and had a chance to take a 2:0 lead, but he didn't take advantage of it.
He had his chances in the decisive, fifth set, but the Brazilian was more composed, and after a great fight, he reached the semifinals.
Antunjes, who also eliminated Pole Igor Mištal yesterday, will meet Filip Radović in the semifinals.
In the other semi-final, the rivals will be Mateo Bojas and Spaniard Jose Manuel Ruiz Reyes, who eliminated Japan's Mahiro Funayama in the quarter-final match.
Radović and Bohas, as group winners, earned a direct place in the semifinals.
The semi-final matches are scheduled for 12:30 p.m., while the trophy will be decided at 15:50 p.m.
