Montenegrin table tennis player Filip Radović advanced to the finals of the international tournament in Władysławowo, Poland.
Radović defeated Brazilian Gabriel Antunjes De Oliveira 10:3 (0:11, 4:11 and 2:11) in the semifinals of the S9 category today and reached the trophy match without dropping a set.
The bronze medalist from the Paralympic Games in Tokyo and Paris, Radović, won in the group against the Pole Dominik Bartosz 3:0 (11:0, 11:3 and 11:3) and the Spaniard José Manuel Ruiz Reyes 3:0 (11:8, 11:4 and 11:4) and as the first-place finisher, he earned a direct place in the semifinals.
His rival in the gold medal match will be Frenchman Mateo Bojas, who eliminated Spaniard Ruiz Reyes.
Radović avenged Luka Bakić with a convincing triumph against Gabriel Antunjes De Oliveira, who was defeated by the Brazilian 3:2 (8:11, 11:9, 11:4, 7:11 and 16:14) earlier today in the quarterfinals.
Bakić, in a match with many twists and turns, led 9:3 in the second set and had a chance to take a 2:0 lead, but he didn't take it. He also had a chance in the decisive, fifth set, but the Brazilian was more composed, and after a great fight he reached the semifinals.
