Slovenian ski jumper Domen Prevc won today's World Cup competition in Planica, while Austrian Daniel Coffening won fourth place, thus securing first place in the overall World Cup standings before the competition ended.
Prevc won with jumps of 234,5 and 237,5 meters, or 459,1 points.
Second place was taken by his compatriot Anže Lanišek, who was 4,3 points behind the winner (jumps of 242 and 227,5 meters), while third place went to Japanese competitor Ryo Kobayashi with 444,1 points (232 and 239,5 meters).
Chofenig took fourth place, and after Jan Herl took eighth position, he maintained a lead of more than 100 points in the World Cup standings before the end of the competition, thus securing the big crystal globe.
The last competition of the season will be held on Sunday, also at Planica.
