The Dutchman won pole position ahead of tomorrow's Japanese Grand Prix (nine hours), and he achieved it in the final seconds of practice.
Max drove the final sector brilliantly on his Suzuki and overtook the leader Lando Norris from McLaren by 0,012 seconds.
