Vrnjačka Banja will host the first Balkan Table Tennis Championship for people with disabilities from Wednesday to Saturday, in which the Montenegrin national team will also participate, the Paralympic Committee announced.
Montenegrin table tennis will be represented by four competitors - Milijana Ćirković (category 6), Igor Mijović (8), Đuro Krivokapić (6) and Uroš Gugolj (8).
They will be led by coach Čedomir Damjanović.
The participation of competitors from seven Balkan countries has been announced.
The first two competition days, April 23rd and 24th, feature singles matches, while mixed and doubles are scheduled for April 25th and 26th.
For Montenegrin table tennis players, the performance in Vrnjacka Banja will be a good prelude to a major international tournament - ITTF World Para Challenger Podgorica 2025, which will be played in late April and early May at the Verde Hall.
