Montenegrin sailor Milivoj Dukić is in sixth place after three regattas and two days of competition, while Ilija Marković is in 30th place in the Grand Slam in Ile-de-France.
The start of the second day of competition was delayed due to a lack of wind, so the 112 best sailors on the planet sailed only one regatta after five hours of waiting.
After the first day, Dukić was in second place (4,4), and Marković was in 34th place.
Marković finished ninth in the third regatta today, and Dukić finished 14th.
Both Montenegrin competitors are on the verge of qualifying for the gold group, which will include the top 56.
Three regattas are scheduled for tomorrow, the last day of qualifying, after which it will be known who will continue the competition in the gold group.
After the qualifications, there are two final days, four final regattas, and then the medal race.
Dukić took 12th place at his first Grand Slam, in Palma de Mallorca, and was one point away from the medal race.
Marković was one point short of qualifying for the final group.
