The league competitions of the Chess Federation of Montenegro are entering their final phase, and Elektroprivreda and Budućnost recorded victories in the sixth round and continued their fight for the winner's cup in the Premier League.
Elektroprivreda outplayed Dama and triumphed with a score of 5,5:0,5, and the only draw was seen in the duel between Denis Kadrić and Nikola Radovanović on the first board. Buducnost defeated its youth team, Omladinac Buducnost, with a score of 5:1, and the duels between Nikola Đukić and Nemanja Vukčević, and Andrej Šuković and Uroš Rašović, ended in a draw.
Montenegrins justified their role as favorites against Prosvjeta and celebrated with 5,5:0,5, while Slaviša Milanović brought a minimal victory to Mimoza in a duel with Nikšić in a match where the remaining five games ended in draws. Herceg Novi celebrated with 4:2 against Rumija, with victories achieved by Nebojša Nikčević, Nebojša Nikolić and Mihailo Pušara, while the triumph in the ranks of Rumija was achieved by Aleksandra Žerebecova on the first board.
While Elektroprivreda and Budućnost are at the top with 18 points, Crnogorac is in third position with 11, followed by Herceg Novi, Mimoza and Omladinac Budućnost with 10.
In the fight for survival, Dama, Rumija, Nikšić and Prosvjeta will compete, and the answer to the question of survival could be provided by tomorrow's duel between Nikšić and Rumija.
Mladost from Nikšić won back to the elite with a victory against Mornar from Bar with three rounds remaining, while Zeta is also on the right track, having played 3:3 with Rudar today. Cetinje and Gambit also played 3:3, while Dijagonale achieved an important victory of 3,5:2,5 in a duel with the team of Zora. The fight for survival in this league will be extremely interesting, considering that seven teams are within two points of each other.
Rokada from Bijelo Polje has earned a return to the First League, thanks to a victory against Plavsko Jezero, and Plav has a chance to win a second visa to enter the First League by winning tomorrow's duel with Anpasan from Kolašin. In today's duels, Anpasan and Ibar minimally defeated elementary and high schools from Pljevlja, and Komovi from Andrijevica, while Kotor and Brskovo played 3:3.
Tomorrow is the seventh round of the Premier and First Leagues, while the Second League will play the ninth, final round.
