Montenegrin table tennis player Filip Radović advanced to the semifinals of the international tournament in Laško, Slovenia.
Today, he recorded two triumphs in the first group of category ten and secured the semi-finals with one round remaining in the competition.
He defeated Chilean Manuel Echaveguren in the opening round, after a great fight and five sets played, 3:2 (11:9, 9:11, 12:10, 6:1 and 11:7), while in the second round he was better than Japanese Mahir Funayama 3:1 (7:11; 11:6, 14:12 and 11:7).
In the final round, tomorrow at 11:20 am, he will play against Mateo Skut from Luxembourg.
The semi-final duels are scheduled for Friday, and Radović's rival will be the second-placed player from the second group, which includes Austrian Christian Gardos, Spaniard Jose Manuel Ruzi Reyes, Gabriel Antónios De Oliveira from Brazil and German Mio Wagner.
Laško will also host the elite tournament, from May 12th to 16th, and among the world's best table tennis players will be Radović and Luka Bakić.
