Montenegrin athlete Miloš Spaić will compete tomorrow at the Grand Prix in Nottwil, Switzerland.
Spaić will compete in the shot put, in the combined F11 and F12 (blind) categories. It is his first sanctioned international competition this year.
Coach Veljko Čegar said that we don't know much about the results of Spaić's matches.
"The goal is to try to improve his personal record, which is 11 meters and 39 centimeters," said Čegar.
He recalled that in the past month, Spaić has competed in competitions organized by the Athletics Association in Draževina and Bar, as well as at the Podgorica Trophy.
"He showed good form at those competitions. He now needs to confirm that at the official para-athletic competitions that count for the World Rankings," said Čegar.
He announced that Spaić, after Notville, will compete at the Grand Prix in Paris on May 31st.
"We have some more competitions coming up in July, after which we will make a decision about participating in the World Championship, at the end of September in India," said Čegar.
Saturday's shot put competition will begin at 11:10 a.m.
