Mercedes driver George Russell is the winner of tonight's Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix.
Russell recorded his fourth career victory on the Montreal track, and his first of the current season.
Second place was taken by four-time consecutive world champion - Max Verstappen of Red Bull, while third-placed Andrea Kimi Antonelli of Mercedes also achieved his first podium finish.
The race was marked by an incident between McLaren drivers Oscar Piastre and Lando Norris at the finish line, in the battle for fourth place. Norris had to retire after contact with a teammate, while Piastre crossed the finish line in fourth.
Fifth and sixth place went to Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, while Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin), Nico Hulkenberg (Sauber), Esteban Ocon (Haas) and Carlos Sainz (Williams) also finished in the top 10.
After 10 races, Piastre leads the overall standings with 198 points, Norris is second with 176 points, Verstappen is third with 155 points, while Russell is in fourth place with 136 points.
The championship continues in two weeks with the race for the Austrian Grand Prix.
