Goalball club Nikšić, with maximum performance, as first place in Group A, advanced to the quarterfinals of the Champions League final tournament in Matosinhos, in the Porto district.
Nikšić's goalies celebrated against Old Power 11:10, and confirmed first place with a triumph in a duel with the Turkish team Nilufer Belediyesi 9:6.
Nikola Nikolić led coach Nikola Čurović's team to victory against the Finns with seven goals, while Marko Nikolić and Matej Ledinek added two goals each.
Erki Minala stood out in the Finnish team with five goals.
The younger of the Nikolić brothers scored six goals against the Turkish team, while Ledinek scored three times.
Nikšić beat Porto 5:4 and Brussels 15:10 in the first two rounds yesterday.
The rival of the Montenegrin representative in the quarterfinals, at 11:15 am, will be the Lithuanian Lions, the fourth-placed team in Group B.
The semi-final matches are scheduled for tomorrow, while the matches for the final placement will be played on Sunday.
