The Luča Table Tennis Club for People with Disabilities finished its performance at the 36th Sports Games for People with Physical Disabilities in Struga and Ohrid with three medals - two silver and one bronze.
The silver medal went to Milijana Ćirković in the combined categories 6-10.
After two victories, Ćirković, as the first-place finisher, advanced to the finals, where she was defeated by Jordanka Todorova from BULGARIA with a score of 3:1.
The Montenegrin table tennis player won their group match, but the Bulgarian player got her revenge in the final.
In the 6-8 class, all three Montenegrin competitors, Đuro Krivokapić (S6), Pjetro Paljušević (S7), and Igor MIjović, made it to the quarterfinals, but were unable to win a medal.
Paljušević defeated Krivokapić in the quarterfinals, while Mijović lost to Milan Mićovic from Serbia, who also defeated Paljušević in the semifinals.
He lost to Rubinac Ristevski from Macedonia 3:2 for third place.
In the 9-10 class, Dejan Bašanović, with two triumphs, reached the quarterfinals as the first place finisher. In the semi-final play-off, he defeated a local competitor 3:0, while in the final match he lost to Bulgarian Vatov 3:2.
He earned his place on the podium by defeating Macedonian Dejan Aleksovski 3:0.
In the team competition, in which eight teams competed, the silver medal went to the team consisting of Bašanović, MIjović and Mićović.
The Bulgarian team won the gold medal, while the Montenegrin team of Paljušević, Čirković and Krivokapić lost to Croatia for the bronze medal.
