The Spaniard celebrated a perfect Moto GP weekend in which he won the 100th pole position of his career and celebrated in the eighth race he started, and also won the Italian Grand Prix.
A spectacular race, which made you wonder in the first seven laps whether it was possible, and in which the two factory Ducati riders, Marc Marquez and Francesco Bagnaja, and the inevitable younger brother of Marc, Alex Marquez, on the Grezioni Ducati, took turns at the lead.
Mark even made a mistake and came into contact with Banaj on the third lap, but with an incredible maneuver they stayed on the track - Mark even retained first position, but not Banaj.
In the fourth, Banjaja took first place, but then Aleks entered the scene, overtaking both of them.
However, Mark was the best exiting turn 15 and was gaining the most acceleration on the straight, and from the sixth lap onwards he was only increasing his lead.
Banjaja was unable to keep up the pace and lost third place to compatriot Fabio di Gianantoni on the VR46 Ducati.
