Young Montenegrin swimmers had notable results at the Komen Cup, a prestigious international competition of Mediterranean countries that took place in Belgrade this year.

Our representatives were: Bjanka Bulajić (born 2010), Jana Borović (2011), Katarina Đurašković (2012) and Daniel Adrović (2009).

"The swimming was done in an open pool, which presented an additional challenge for our competitors, given that we do not have the conditions for regular training in an Olympic pool. Despite this, the results achieved were within the limits of personal records, and as the competition progressed, the form and confidence of our swimmers grew," the VPSCG said.

Katarina Đurašković achieved a time of 200:2 in the 53,77-meter breaststroke, setting a new cadet record for Montenegro.

Daniel Adrović achieved stable results very close to his personal records in three disciplines - the 100, 200 and 400 meter freestyle.

Bjanka Bulajić competed in the 100-meter freestyle and 100-meter breaststroke events, where she showed stability and continuity over time, despite her first appearance on the international stage.

Jana Borović swam the 100-meter backstroke and confirmed that she is competitive in this discipline.

"We are proud of the performance of our young national team. Considering that this was their first Komen experience, and that they performed in an open pool, we can be very satisfied with the performance," the VPSCG announced.
