Olympic champion with Roglič and Lipovic - Evenepul in a new team from next season

The Emirates and Visma teams currently look unattainable, but Red Bull Racing Hansgrohe is slowly putting together an interesting team.

Primož Roglič, Giro and Vuelta champion, and Florija Lipovic, the best young rider in the recently concluded Tour de France and third in the overall standings, are already riding for the German cycling team, and now the Olympic champion is arriving.

Remko Evenepul, considered by many to be the third best cyclist on the planet, alongside Tadej Pogačar and Jonas Vingegaard, will be wearing the colors of Red Bull Bora starting next season.

The two-time Olympic champion and the best time trialist of today arrives from Soudal Quick Step, and this transfer seems to have become certain with the arrival of a new sports director - his compatriot Sven Vanturenhaut, former coach of the Belgian national team and close friend of Evenepul.

"With this move, we are opening a new chapter for one of the most important drivers of his generation. Remko Evenepul will wear the Red Bull Bora jersey from next season," the team said.

Evenepul has so far won the Vuelta in 2022, two monument races (Liège-Bastogne-Liège in 2022 and 2023) and has been world champion three times - in the road race in 2022 and the time trial in 2023 and 2024.

He won both gold medals in Paris last year.
