Nothing new in Moto GP - Marc Marquez demonstrated class and celebrated in the San Marino and Rimini Grand Prix at the Misano circuit.
He got off to a great start on the Ducati, immediately breaking through from the second row just behind Marko Beceki, who had pole position on the Aprilia, and then routinely passed him on lap 12, not allowing the same mistake from the Mizan sprint, when the Spaniard fell off the track.
Behind the older Marquez was Beceki, and the podium was completed by the younger of the Marquez brothers, Alex, on a Gresini Ducati.
Marc has reached 512 points in the MotoGP season, a record. He has recorded his 99th victory, ahead of Giacomo Agostini (122) and Valentino Rossi (115)
The race was marked by Pedro Acosta's elimination on the ninth lap, when the chain on his motorcycle "broke", just as the KTM rider was riding well and in position.
