The Board of Directors of the Paralympic Committee announced that it has accepted the resignation of the coach of the para tennis team, Vladimir Marić.
He has been the coach of the Montenegrin table tennis team since January 2023, and with him on the bench, Filip Radović was a finalist at the European Championship in Sheffield and a bronze medalist at the Paralympic Games in Paris.
The Board of Directors appointed Čedomir Damjanović as the new coach, who will be assisted by Dejan Bašanović.
Damjanović and Bašanović will lead Radović and Luka Bakić at the European Championships, which will be held in Helsingborg, Sweden, from November 20th to 25th.
Damjanović is a long-time player and coach of Lovćen, where Radović took his first steps in table tennis. For the past ten years, he has been the coach of the Podgorica table tennis club for people with disabilities, Luča.
Bašanović is the holder of the European bronze medal, which he won in 2019 in Helsingborg with Radović and Bakić.
