Montenegrin sailor Milivoj Dukić ranks 19th in the World Rankings, in the Ilka 7 class at the end of the 2025 competition year, it was announced on the official website of the association.
In early April, Dukić won 12th place at the first Grand Slam of the season - the 54th Princess Sofia Trophy regatta in Mallorca, while he was 16th at the Grand Slam in Hyères, France.
At the European Championships in Sweden, he won 12th place, while he was 15th in the overall standings, which also included the results of competitors outside of Europe.
A better placement in the World Rankings cost him 58th place at the World Championships in Qingdao, China.
That championship was marked by a lack of wind, so the sailors did not sail for the first three days of competition, while on the fourth day, fog and poor visibility did not allow the championship to officially begin.
"I am satisfied with the results I have achieved this year, and especially with the decision to sail another Olympic cycle. This has been a very successful competitive season. I am glad that in the end I confirmed my excellent sailing at the European Championships in Sweden, which served as a good guideline for the challenges that await me in the coming period," said Dukić.
At the beginning of May, he was ranked fifth in the World Rankings, which is his best ranking in his career.
