Nebojša Kitić and Julija Mitrić are the winners of the second Slobodanka Boba Gurešić Memorial Table Tennis Tournament in Podgorica.
Kitić defeated Bojan Stamenković 3:1 in the final match.
He previously won against Petar Tomić 3:2 in the semi-final match, while Stamenković eliminated Srđan Šćekić 3:1. Tomić and Šćekić were bronze medalists.
In the women's competition, Julija Mitrić defeated Samra Kojić 3:0 (12:10, 11:6 and 11:4) in the final.
Mitrić qualified for the finals by defeating Danijela Lučanin 3:0 (11:5, 11:4 and 11:8), while Milijana Ćirković lost the match to Samra Kojić due to injury.
Ćirković reached the semifinals as the top seed in her group, but was forced to withdraw due to hip pain.
Lučanin and Ćirković finished the tournament with bronze medals.
The tournament was inclusive, bringing together more than 40 table tennis players.
In addition to Luca and the Cetinje club for people with disabilities Orlov krš, the Serbian national team performed, as well as members of clubs competing in the regular Montenegrin league - Spin from Podgorica and Lovćen from Cetinje.
Competitors from other Montenegrin municipalities also participated - Bar, Rožaje, Gusinje, Tuzi, Herceg Novi and Bijelo Polje.
Gurešić, who passed away on February 1st last year, was a multiple champion of Montenegro and the winner of two medals from the European University Championships.
She was a member of the Podgorica club for people with disabilities Luča and San Spin from Leskovac, for which she played in the Serbian league. She won medals at international tournaments in the region.
