Red Bull driver Max Verstappen will start from pole position for the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, after being fastest in qualifying today.
The current world champion reached pole position in Abu Dhabi with a time of 1:22,207 minutes.
Second and third place were taken by McLaren drivers Lando Norris, 0,201 seconds behind, and Oscar Piastre, 0,230 seconds behind.
Fourth was George Russell of Mercedes, fifth place was taken by Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc, while sixth was Fernando Alonso of Aston Martin.
Seventh was Gabriel Bortoletto from Sauber, eighth place went to Hasa driver Esteban Ocon, while ninth was Isak Hajar from Team RB.
Tenth place was taken by the other Red Bull driver, Juki Tsunoda.
The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is scheduled for Sunday at 14 p.m.
Norris will be the new F1 champion if he scores a podium finish - one of the top three places.
Festapen will win his fifth consecutive title if he wins and Norris is not in the top three, and Piastre can be the champion if he wins and Norris is not in the top five.
