A member of the Podgorica table tennis club Luča Slobodan Mihailović won silver, while Nedžad Pepić, Milisav Femić, Samra Kojić, Pjetro Paljušević and Đuro Krivokapić finished the second day of competition at the Podgorica Open international tournament for people with disabilities with bronze medals.
Mihailović and Edib Šahman from Bosnia and Herzegovina won the silver medal in the combined 6-7 category, and in the final match they were defeated by Antic and Hamed Podbišćanin from Serbia.
Bronze medals went to Igor Postolov and Marijan Zafirovski from North Macedonia and Luca members Pjetro Paljušević and Đuro Krivokapić.
The Montenegrin team consisting of Nedžad Pepić, Milisav Femić and Samra Kojić also won a bronze medal in the combined categories 2-5.
The same medal was won by Nebojša Ilić and Danijela Lučanin from Serbia, while ahead of them were the gold medalists Bojan Stamenković, Stojiljković and Dario Stošić and the silver medalists Vladan Petković and Kristina Grbović from Serbia.
In the 8-10 category, the best were Haris Eminović and Darko Pavlić from Bosnia and Herzegovina, who defeated Jordan Mitev, Paun Vatov and Jordanka Todorova from Bulgaria in the final.
The bronze medalists were Cerić and Vidiček, and Stošić and Vujisić.
Table tennis players from Luče finished the first competitive day of the seventh international tournament for people with disabilities, Podgorica Open, with four medals - one gold and one silver, and two bronze.
The gold medal, like last year, was won by Samra Kojić, the silver medal was won by Dejan Bašanović, while the bronze medals were won by Pjetro Paljušević and Uroš Gugolj.
The competition in the Verde sports hall gathered more than 60 table tennis players from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, North Macedonia and Montenegro.
The organizer of the tournament was the Table Tennis Club of People with Disabilities Luča, and it was played under the auspices of the Capital City and with the support of the Paralympic Committee, the Table Tennis Association and the Ministry of Sports and Youth.
