Former Formula One champion Damon Hill has said that McLaren driver Lando Norris could win three or four more championship titles, after winning his first last season.
Norris is one of 35 drivers to have won the Formula One title, having finished two points clear of four-time champion Max Verstappen of Red Bull last season.
Hill, the 1996 champion, told the Stay on Track podcast that winning his first title is a huge hurdle for any driver and that now that he has achieved it, Norris could win "three or four more."
"He succeeded and that's comforting. Now, to some extent, he will be able to relax. It's a question of the greed you have to have to win a title. I always thought that when Michael Schumacher won one, two, three, four, five titles, that was enough for him, but after that he won two more," Hill said.
"It drives some people to win more titles. I definitely think Lando has more than one title in him. I think he probably has three or four," the former British driver added.
One of Norris' main competitors could be his teammate Oscar Piastr, who had a big lead halfway through last season, which he surprisingly let go and ended up finishing third in the championship.
Hill said he believes Piastre will spend the winter analyzing where the lapses in his performances were.
"Oscar didn't exactly fail. There were times when he gave up. He'll spend the winter thinking about what he needs to do to patch up the little holes in his performances. And he'll figure out how to prevent it from happening again," Hill said.
"Of course, they both went through the title fight and then Max Verstappen put pressure on them and they will learn a lot from that. It will be a strong pair, but I think there will be more determination within the team from Oscar to stop Lando from beating him again," Hill added.
The new 11-team Formula 1 season begins on March 8 with the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne.
