Montenegrin parasnowboarder Andrej Šibalić will compete in the European Cup, which will be held in Kuhtai, Austria, over the next two days, the Paralympic Committee announced.

Šibalić will compete in the banked slalom discipline, in the LL2 category.

The European Cup is an official international snowboard competition, which counts points for qualifying for the Paralympic Games, from March 6th to 15th in Milan and Cortina D'Ampezzo.

Tomorrow, on the first day of competition, the first banked slalom race is scheduled, with 41 competitors registered. The second run is scheduled for the following day.

In the LL2 category, which Šibalić is in, 20 drivers will compete for medals.

This will be Šibalić's second international competition this season, after Landgraf, where he finished 20th in both disciplines.

After Kuhtai, Šibalić will attend the FIS camp on Bjalasnica, from February 19th to 25th.

He made his parasnowboarding debut at the end of November 2021 in Landgraf, Netherlands, where he won his first points in the European Cup.
