Austrian skier Julia Scheib won the giant slalom, a World Cup race held in Kronplatz, today.
Scheib won with a time of 2:19,85 minutes, or 0,37 seconds faster than second-place Swiss skier Kamila Rast.
Sweden's Sara Hektor, who was leading after the first run, took third place, 0,46 seconds behind the winner.
Fourth was American Mikaela Shiffrin.
Today's race also marked the return of Italian Federica Brignone to the track, nine months after suffering a serious injury. She finished the race in sixth place.
Shiffrin leads the overall World Cup standings with 973 points, Rast is second with 833, while Germany's Ema Eicher is third with 598 points. In the giant slalom standings, Scheib is first, ahead of Rast and Hector.
