Swiss skier Franz von Allmann won the gold medal today in the downhill in Bormio, the first race run at the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics.
Von Allmann won his first gold medal at the Winter Olympics with a time of 1:51,61 minutes.
The silver and bronze medals went to Italian skiers. Giovanni Franconi won the silver, 0,20 seconds behind, and Dominik Paris won the bronze, 0,50 seconds behind.
