The Montenegrin story at the Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo has ended - roughly as expected.
Although Grbović impressed in his first appearance in Nordic skiing, the reality is still that Montenegro is not a country of winter sports and that the system needs to be seriously changed so that some future Olympians can have more notable results.

Grbović was 54th out of almost 100 competitors in the 1,5 kilometer sprint using the classic technique, and finished the 10 kilometer race in 87th place.
Alpine skier Peković made his slalom debut at the Games and was 37th among only 44 competitors who managed to complete the first race.
