Member of the Nikšić Athletic Club Slađana Pejović and Miljan Kukuličić from Mornar from Bar won the titles of senior champion of Montenegro in cross country.
Pejović triumphed in the 3,000-meter race in Nikšić, ahead of Lidija Todorović (Sparta) and Marina Marković (Lovćen).
The Montenegrin Olympian, who returned to the athletics track after a short break, won the Montenegrin cross-country championship title for the 20th time.
Kukuličić won the senior 6.000-meter race ahead of Todor Nikolić (Nikšić) and Davor Kujović (Sparta).
In the Ciciban competition, the best were Maid Alomerović (Sanja) and Sara Tvrdišić (Mornar), in the younger pioneers competition Faruk Međedović (Sanja) and Sofija Pejović (Mornar) won, and in the pioneers competition Uroš Camović (Milenijum) and Anđelka Pavićević (Jedinstvo) won.
The fastest juniors were Vukašin Savičić (Mornar) and Ajša Balić (Jedinstvo), in the junior competition Mihailo Roćenović (Mornar) and Aleksandra Madžgalj (Jedinstvo) won, and in the junior senior competition Sergej Rakočević (Jedinstvo) and Tamara Karan (Lovćen) won.
In the veteran competition, Aleksa Maliković (35-39, Nikšić); Vlatko Tadić (40-44 Nikšić); Radomir Radunović (55-59 Podgorica) and Nikola Vukčević (65+Bar) were the winners, while in the women's competition, Biljana Radunović (50-54, Podgorica) was the fastest.
More than 150 athletes from nine athletics clubs participated in the championship, held on the Trebjesa grounds and technically organized by AK Nikšić.
The most medals were won by athletes from Mornar from Bar (12), ahead of Jedinstvo (9) and Nikšić and Lovćen with six each.
