Gresini rider Alex Marquez won the MotoGP Spanish Grand Prix race in Jerez today.
Marquez won with a time of 40:48,861 minutes.
Second place was taken by Aprilia rider Marko Beceki, 1,903 seconds behind, while third was Fabio di Gianantonio from Pertama, 5,796 seconds behind.
Fourth was Aprilia rider Jorge Martin, and fifth and sixth place were taken by Trekhaus riders Aji Ogura and Raul Fernandes.
Reigning world champion Marc Marquez, who started from pole position, did not finish the race after going off the track on the second lap.
First in the overall driver standings is Beceki with 101, 11 more than second-place Martin.
The Moto GP championship continues in three weeks in Barcelona.
