The seventh day of the League Competitions of the Chess Federation of Montenegro brought interesting duels, and the leading teams Elektroprivreda and Budućnost continued their winning streak.
The duel between Elektroprivreda and Montenegrin, at least judging by the result, was a derby on paper. Elektroprivreda won 5:1, and victories were recorded by the world youth champion Pranav Vankataneš, Montenegrin national team members, grandmasters Denis Kadrić and Luka Drašković, and grandmaster Boban Bogosavljević.
The second derby of the round went to the team Buducnost, which, thanks to the victories of Ivan Čeparinov, Robert Markuš and Miloš Pečurica, defeated the team Mimoza with a score of 4,5:1,5.
Thus, Elektroprivreda and Budućnost continued their race for the winning cup, and their duel was scheduled for the final, ninth round.
Herceg Novi defeated Omladinac Buducnost 5:1, and all games were decided. Dimitris Aleksakis, Miodrag Savic, Pavel Anisimov, Nebojsa Nikcevic and Mihailo Pusara scored for Herceg Novi, while Dario Alivodic scored for Omladinac.
Nikšić recorded an important victory in the fight for survival, defeating Mladost 4:2 in the city derby. Victories by Slaviša Brenj, Vuk Miletić, Igor Sarić and Mitar Đukanović practically ensured survival in the Premier League.
The team defeated Zeta 4:2, with Andrej Skvorcov, Bogdan Podlesnik and Boro Miljanić achieving victories, while Atakan Mert Bicer was in good spirits in the Zeta ranks.

Zora takes the top spot in the First League
The chess players of Zora took advantage of Rumija's mistake and took the lead in the First League with a victory against Mornar.
Zora celebrated thanks to the victories of Vjekoslav Vulević and Milojko Kandić.
Rokada celebrated against Rumija thanks to Zoran Lazarević's victory, along with five draws, and confirmed their ambition to enter the Premier League.
The last two rounds will decide the two passengers in the higher ranking.
Cetinje beat Dijagonale, while Rudar defeated Prosvjeta. Plavsko Jezero defeated Gambit in the derby at the bottom.
