Montenegrin table tennis player Filip Radović has taken first place in the latest World Para Table Tennis Federation rankings in category ten, it was announced on the official website of the association.
Radović reached the top position after triumphing at tournaments in Vladislavovo, Linjan and Podgorica.
The results from the challenger in Laško were not counted for this ranking.
The bronze medalist from Tokyo and Paris is in the lead with 2.740 points. Second place in the ten-man category is taken by Japan's Mahiro Funayama (2.685), while third place is Chile's Manuel Echaveguren with 2.095 points.
Silver medalist Luka Bakić from Helsingborg is in 12th position with 1.128 points.
In the rankings for the World Championship qualifiers, which will be held in Thailand in November, Radović is in third place, and Bakić is in ninth place.
Only 13 table tennis players will qualify for the championship - the winners of the continental championships and the six best placed players from the World Rankings.
Among the participants will be the best player in the world under 23 and one by special invitation.
The World Championship qualifiers will conclude on July 1st.
Starting Monday, Laško will host an elite tournament, which will bring together almost all of the world's best table tennis players in the ten-person category.
Montenegrin table tennis will be represented by Luka Bakić.
