The regular Assembly session of the Montenegrin Olympians Club was held in Podgorica, chaired by the celebrated handball player Ljiljana Mugoša Vučević. The session was attended by President Dušan Simonović on behalf of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee (MOC).

During the session, the Club members unanimously adopted reports on work and financial operations, as well as an ambitious plan for the coming period.

The focus of future activities will be on animating the younger generations in order to further popularize the sport, which was a suggestion by Svetlana Antić, also our legendary handball player. In addition, the creation of the official website of the Club is planned, as well as the organization of numerous socially beneficial actions.

MOC President Dušan Simonović emphasized that the Club is on the right track, particularly emphasizing the importance of including new members.

"I am particularly delighted with the positive solution regarding Marta Bojanović, because she is a person who, through her life example, has earned such an attitude from the Montenegrin Olympians Club," said Simonović.

President Vučević's work received high marks from those present.

Celebrated water polo player Mirko Vičević thanked her, emphasizing that she presented the Club's work "bravely and flawlessly, the way she played throughout her career."

Andrija Popović also joined in the praise, who, like the other members, expressed his full availability for future actions.

The Club expressed special gratitude to the Capital City of Podgorica, the Municipality of Berane and the Handball Club Budućnost for their support so far. It was hoped that other municipalities and institutions would also recognize the importance of this organization and support the work of Montenegrin Olympians in the future.
