The winner of the Hungarian Grand Prix, the eighth race of the MotoGP season, was Ducati rider Marc Marquez. The fantastic Spaniard celebrated the 100th victory of his career.
The champion has been waiting for it since September 2025, when he celebrated at Mizan.
Pedro Acosta finished in second place, having been the leader on his KTM from the second to the middle of the 15th lap, and then followed up with a fantastic attack from the best.
The other factory Ducati rider, Francesco Banjaja, finished in last place on the podium.
Apart from the fantastic duel with Acosta, the race was marked by a mistake on the first lap and a driver's fall.
In the first corner, Jorge Martin lost control and crashed into Fermin Aldeguer, Marco Bezzecchi, Raul Fernandez and Fabio Di Gianantonio. Only Di Gianantonio managed to get back on track and continue the race.
Motorcyclists Aprilia Beceki and Martin were taken to the hospital for medical examinations.
