Montenegrin record holder Marija Vuković triumphed in the high jump on the long competition day of the Montenegrin individual athletics championship in Bar.
Vuković won with a jump of 185 centimeters.
Amir Papazi also had an excellent performance, winning the javelin throw with a result of 66,70 meters.
In the senior women's competition, in the same discipline, the most successful was Marija Bogavac with a result of 48,50 meters.
Due to technical and security conditions, this competition was held at the training ground in the barracks in Danilovgrad.
The most successful individual athlete of the championship was Anđela Drobnjak with five medals won.
Among seniors, Dragan Pešić and Mihailo Roćenović won five medals each.
On the second day of the championship, the most medals were won by athletes from Mornar from Bar (11), Sanja had eight athletes on the podium, and Jedinstvo had six.
The championship was a selection for the national team for the Balkan Championship for senior men and women, which will be held in Volos on June 20th and 21st.
For the first time in the history of Montenegrin athletics, the Anti-Doping Commission of Montenegro was present at the championship.
During the competition, anti-doping controls were conducted for four male and four female athletes.
The championship in Bar gathered more than 100 athletes from 14 clubs.
