Dedivanović bronze in Zagreb

Montenegrin para-swimmer Iskra Dedivanović finished her performance at the Zagreb PARA Swimming Open 2026 with a bronze medal.

Today, in the 100-meter backstroke, she swam in a time of one minute, 31 seconds and three hundredths of a second, which was enough for third place in the overall competition.

In the 50-meter freestyle, she swam in 34,56 seconds, which is only one hundredth of a second slower than her personal best (34,55).

In the overall standings, she won fourth place in the absolute competition.

Dedivanović swam in the S9 category.

Coach Danijela Bulatović said that Dedivanović once again showed that effort, work and perseverance always pay off.

"I congratulate Iskra on their excellent performance and representation of our club and country, and starting tomorrow we will continue training and preparations for the next challenge - the swimming competition that will be held in Podgorica on June 27th and 28th. Let's move forward, step by step, stroke by stroke," said Bulatović.

The Zagreb PARA Swimming Open is on the calendar of the World Para Swimming Organization (WPS), and will bring together several hundred swimmers from countries in the region.

The organizer of the meeting was the Croatian Paralympic Committee, with the support of the Croatian Paraswimming Federation and the Natator Paraswimming Club.
