Marija, the fastest lady on Njeguši in 2026.

Motorist Marija Ivanović continues her phenomenal performances on Montenegrin tracks.

This weekend she took part in the Njeguši race, the fourth hill race held as part of the Montenegrin Championship, and won second place. She was second in her class of 1,6 groups.

In front of Marija was only Mirko Vujačić, and behind two other ladies - Ena Plakalo and Margarita Malteševa.

Ivanovic does not hide her satisfaction, even though she had problems during the two days.

- The course was very well secured, the organization was excellent - says Marija and adds:

- On Saturday I had two training sessions and I am satisfied with the ride, I saw where I made mistakes that I corrected during the race itself the next day. The weather was good for us during training, while on Sunday it rained during the race, and I did not have rain tires. I was forced to ride on slick tires that are for dry weather. In any case, I coped with the rain and such tires and won second place in my class, and I also received the trophy for the fastest lady at the "Njeguši 2026" mountain race - emphasized Marija Ivanović.
