Job Hendriks from the Netherlands and Deborah Simons from Belgium are the winners of the Blacklake Xtreme Triathlon on Durmitor.
After a 3,8-kilometer swim, 182-kilometer bike ride, and a 42,2-kilometer marathon, he triumphed in a time of 12 hours, 15 minutes, and six seconds, breaking the previous record for the full distance.
Britain's Lewis Williams finished in second place (12:47,02), while third place went to Maxime Antoine from Belgium (13:31,16).
Simons won the women's competition in a time of 19 hours, 15 minutes and 18 seconds.
Second place was taken by Norway's Stine Sandven-Trane, while third place went to Linda Janovska from the Czech Republic.
The results on Durmitor for the best also had special international significance, since Blacklake is one of 15 races in the world that are part of the XTRI World Tour.
The two first-place finishers in the men's and women's full-distance competitions each earned direct qualification to the famous Norseman Xtreme Triathlon in Norway.
Thus, Hendriks and Williams secured their place in the Norseman in the men's competition, and Simons and Sandven-Trane in the women's competition.
It has been announced that Žabljak will host the Solo Point Five World Championship next year.
