The Assembly of the Rugby Federation of Montenegro unanimously confirmed its confidence in Zorica Kostić Vučićević, re-electing her as the president of the Federation for the next four-year term.
Kostić Vučićević was first elected president in May 2021. Since then, as announced, the work of the Federation has been revitalized - domestic and representative competitions have been renewed, and Montenegrin rugby has received significant international recognition.
"During her term, the Federation became a full member of Rugby Europe, and in 2023, a provisional member of the World Rugby Federation, which is an important step towards full membership. Also, the Rugby Federation of Montenegro joined the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, thus becoming part of the official Olympic family. Two European Championships in the Olympic discipline of rugby 7s (Conference 2) were successfully organized in Bar, and since 2023, Kostić Vučićević has also been a member of the MOC Board of Directors," the Rugby Federation announced.
At the proposal of the President, the Assembly unanimously elected Ivan Čolaković from the Cetinje Rugby Club as Vice President of the Association.
