From May 12th to 16th, the Shkodra Open, an under-14 tournament from the European Tennis Association (ETA) calendar, was held in Shkodra, where Montenegrin tennis players achieved notable results.
The best result among Montenegrin representatives was achieved by Iva Camaj, who won first place in the women's doubles with Advita Das Banerjee from India, defeating Anesa Ismajli from Kosovo and Ece Sen from Turkey 6:2; 6:4 in the final.
Sara Camaj and Staša Globarević were previously eliminated in the women's doubles semifinals by Ismajli and Sen with a score of 6:0, 4:6, 2:10.
Eva Angelina Radoman was eliminated in the women's singles semifinals by Ece Sen with a score of 6:2, 6:1.
In the men's singles competition, Petar Stanković reached the quarterfinals, where he lost to Britain's Luke Praten 6:4, 6:2.
The good results of Montenegrin tennis players in this tournament brought them significant points for the European Tennis Association (ETA) rankings.
