Taekwondo players from Durmitor Vrhnika won two gold, a silver and a bronze medal at the Sarajevo Open International Tournament.
The tournament was held last weekend in the Mojmilo Olympic Hall, with the participation of 242 competitors from four countries.
Coach Kariev's four-member team also won the trophy for third place in the junior cadets, as well as special awards for the best junior cadet, gold for Vladimir Golubović, and the best cadet, gold for Viktor Golubović.
The silver medal went to junior cadet Luka Šibalić and the bronze medal went to Novak Stanišić.
"I am satisfied with all the competitors and the matches shown, especially the Golubović brothers, Viktor and Vladimir. They are proof of dedicated work, children who are regular at training have no excuses. Their parents Veselin and Danijela Golubović are also responsible for this, because without the support of their parents it would be difficult for all the club's competitors. We have a competition every week, and now we are also preparing for the E3 Grand Prix qualifications, in a week. Many children were unable to compete, i.e. the four favorites, the Baranin brothers, sister and brother Šibalić who are recovering from measles, cadet Jovović with a knee injury, Džaković and Kasalica also with health problems. Today we also received electronics, which makes preparations easier and we are starting with new enthusiasm and work," said coach Kariev.
