From tomorrow until June 24, Podgorica will once again host a unique event that combines sport, culture and community - the second edition of the Minibasket Podgorica tournament for children under 12 years of age.
This event goes beyond the framework of a sports competition - it is a true festival of children's joy, socializing, and positive energy.
The tournament officially begins tomorrow with a parade of all participants through the city center, and over the course of five days, the program will include a series of sports and cultural events that will enrich the space and spirit of the capital.
Some of the most famous European clubs will be on the sports fields: Partizan, Bayern Munich, Virtus Bologna, Fortitudo Bologna, FMP, Ted Ankara Kolejlirer and others, as well as a large number of teams from Montenegro.
Matches will be played in the morning and afternoon, and courts throughout the capital will be a place where new friendships, fair play, and a love of basketball will be born. But Minibasket is more than just a game.
"In the evening, Njegošev Park and Independence Square become the center of cultural events - with screenings of selected family and children's films under the open sky, concerts by local bands, performances by our DJs, and a special program celebrating the spirit of togetherness and creativity. Minibasket Podgorica 2025 aims to create an atmosphere that children will remember - because nothing is more important than the smile on their faces and the feeling that they are part of something big, warm and common," the organization stated.
