Leon is coming, another in the galaxy of Camaj surnames on the national team jersey

At the very mention of the surname Camaj, the first association is - football, for all lovers and connoisseurs of the most beautiful game. Throughout the people of Madrid, the Camajs promoted the spirit of the game and fair play of Montenegrin football.

And in almost all positions, most often closest to the goal! Lately, there has been an increasing number of Camaj players defending the goal - Andrej, Mario and the youngest hope, Leon.

Leon Camaj is a regular in goal for the pioneer and cadet teams of Dečić, but most importantly - the pioneer national team of Montenegro.

"Out of five games in the selection of Vladan Savić and goalkeeper coach Fuad Osmanagić, I did not concede a goal in three," the 15-year-old Tuzanian points out, not without pride, and adds:

"We have a great generation and fantastic professional work and relationship. It is a favorable circumstance for me that both the Football Association Camp and the Dečić fields are very close to me and I have all the conditions for progress. At the club, in the selections of Dejan Batrović and Nasko Padović, I am lucky that Pavle Velimirović leads my goalkeeping training. I have no lack of desire to work and progress," says Leon.

He first stepped between the posts at the Amerika club, then moved to the ranks of Dečić.

"Amerika is a club that no longer functions, but I still remember that beautiful period. It's great in Dečić, the club is progressing in every way. The school is also close to me, I have maximum understanding from the staff of the Tuzi Gymnasium and my classmate Dorijeta Nasufaga, but I try not to abuse the fact that they also know that I see my future in football. My desire is to progress and become a professional goalkeeper. I also love to play and I consider Bayern captain Manuel Nieder to be the best goalkeeper in the world," explained Camaj.

Among the many great ball masters on green courts, Leon also has close relatives.

"Ilir Camaj is my closest relative, and I don't hide the fact that I enjoyed when he "opened up" the opponent's defenses in tandem with Kristijan Vuljaj. I believe, or rather I expect, that Andrej will soon have a great goalkeeping career," concluded Camaj.
