At the Montenegrin Championship for Pioneers, Budding Athletes and Hopes held in Herceg Novi, which was attended by 500 competitors from 44 clubs, the competitors of the Buducnost Bemax karate club won one gold, two silver and one bronze medal, and five fifth places also secured a place in the Balkan Championship.
The gold medal and the title of champion of Montenegro was won by Strahinja Mujović in the -52kg category of hope. The silver medal in the -34kg category of pioneers was won by Ljubica Kostić.
The silver medal in the kata for hopefuls category was won by Nina Krulj. Strahinja Mujović, Dragutin Stojanović, Vuk Knežević and Ognjan Nikčević won the bronze medal in the kata team hopefuls category.
Fifth place and a place in the national team were taken by Ljubica Kostić and Olga Kostić in kata, and by Vuk Knežević, Staša Perković and Nikolina Kostić in wrestling.
