The Captain Jack team, consisting of Bojan Šmigić, Lazar Bailović, Bodin Šaranović and Stefan Varagić, won the first qualifying tournament of the fifth edition of Basket in My Neighborhood.

Held last Saturday on the renovated field near the ''Splićanka'' building in Zabjelo and organized by the Secretariat for Sports and KK Junior, the tournament brought together 16 teams, divided into 4 groups.

The ''captains'' took second place in their group, and then in the quarterfinals they beat Point Masters with a convincing 22:11 score.

In the semi-final match, they defeated DG 3x3 with a score of 21:14, and in an extremely interesting final duel, in a great atmosphere of street basketball, after a fierce fight, they defeated the Krokodil team with a score of 21:19.

In addition to a visa for the final tournament on June 6th in Njegošev Park, the winners received a cash prize of 400 euros, as well as a protein package.

The second-place team Krokodil (Damjan Šimun, Đorđe Parović, Petar Bošković and Dejan Posuka) also secured a place in the finals at the temple of Podgorica basketball, and in addition to protein from 7nutrition, its members also earned Baseus Bowie headphones.

In an exciting clash for the third, final place leading into the grand final on June 6, the reigning champions Republicans (Miljan Stojanović, Stefan Čarapić, Novak Božović and Radule Raspopović) triumphed over DG 3x3 (Đorđije Tatar, Milan Dragović, Milovan Pavicevic, Nemanja Andić), with a close score of 21:19.
