Our pioneers' defeat in Italy, Moldovans punished for their mistakes

The Montenegrin pioneer team was defeated by Moldova in the last match of the international tournament in Italy.

The match saw one goal, scored by Ivan Gazjuk, who scored in the 39th minute.

- It was an expectedly difficult and tiring game, where the guys were visibly tired, but they tried to give their best. Throughout the match, we were disciplined and aggressive in the defensive part, we didn't give the opponent much space to play, while we created the game whenever there was space and from that game during the first half we missed an empty goal on two occasions from a few meters away," said coach Vladan Savić and added:

"During the second half, we had a couple of chances and hit the post, but then we got a penalty, in a situation where we reacted very poorly in the defensive part. In general, such a serious tournament with strong national teams showed us where we are compared to them, and I think the boys realized how much they have to work on themselves in every segment, because only through games like this can we move on an upward trajectory," coach Savić emphasized.
