Montenegro recognizes champions: Passport for young Lana Boljević

The President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, hosted Lana Boljević, a talented athlete and European vice-champion in taekwondo, to whom he presented a Montenegrin passport.

The granting of Montenegrin citizenship followed after President Milatović had previously submitted a proposal to the competent authorities for its acquisition, taking into account Lana's outstanding sporting results, dedication and successes she has achieved on the international stage.

Lana Boljević has demonstrated exceptional talent, strength of character and sporting maturity through her performances in numerous competitions, confirming herself as one of the most promising names in European taekwondo.

"Lana is an example of how hard work, discipline and self-belief turn into top results. Her successes are not only sporting, but also an inspiration for all of Montenegro," said President Milatović, adding that he was particularly honored that Lana was the first to be presented with a Montenegrin passport, as recognition for everything she has achieved so far and encouragement for what lies ahead.
