For the title of "difovci" and the current champion

The Faculty of Sports and Physical Education from Nikšić and the two-time consecutive champion, the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, advanced to the finals of the Meridianbet Student League of Montenegro in basketball, after victories in the semi-final duels played at the Sports and Cultural Center of the University of Montenegro.

In the first semi-final match, a rematch of last year's final, the Faculty of Science was convincing against the University of Donja Gorica (48:34). After the first half, the Faculty gained a double-digit lead (30:19), which it maintained without major problems until the end of the game.

The second semi-final was much more uncertain, in which the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education defeated last year's bronze medalist - the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (56:45). Although the "Difovci" controlled the score and maintained the advantage for most of the match, ETF had the opportunity to introduce uncertainty in the final minutes of the match, but missed two great chances to close the gap to just four points. Namely, with the score 49:43 for Nikšić, with 3.45 minutes left, Aleksandar Popović missed both free throws, and then Petar Jokić missed the same opportunity with 2:01 left, also with the same score. The ETF team tried to come back with a three-point shot, but without success, while Vasilije Dulović eliminated all doubts about the winner with a three-pointer in the final minutes of the match.
