The generation of boys born in 2015 at the Podgorica-based Nacional football school achieved great results during their appearances at two international tournaments in Milan, winning first and second place in competition with quality teams and renowned football academies.
On the first day, Nacional's boys dominantly won the "Young Cup Milano" tournament, displaying efficient and high-quality play throughout the competition.
The very next day, they competed at the strong international tournament "EPLAY 24 CUP" and won second place - gold narrowly missed out on Nenad Laković's boys.
"In addition to excellent results, the stay in Milan also brought new contacts with Italian football academies, which opened up opportunities for future cooperation and new experiences for our young football players," said Laković.
"First of all, I want to congratulate the boys on everything they showed over the weekend. I am proud not only of the results, but also of the way they represented the club. They showed unity, discipline, character and a great desire to progress. Playing against strong academies and achieving such results is confirmation that this generation has great potential and a bright future ahead of them," said Nenad Laković.
The successful performance in Milan once again confirmed the quality of work with younger categories and announced new challenges for Nacional's talented generation.
