Swiss tennis player Roger Federer announced his participation in the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
The Swiss said that he is coming to Tokyo to take the gold medal, the only one missing in his rich career.
"I have to train hard and get ready for Tokyo. Of course, I'll go into the tournament with a gold medal in mind, that's why I'm traveling to Japan. I want to make the most of the opportunity – it's a great feeling when you take any title, but the Olympics are something especially," said Federer.
Federer's closest to gold in singles was in London in 2012, when Andy Murray beat him in the final.
The Olympic Games are scheduled from July 24 to August XNUMX.
