The organizers of Roland Garros have decided to further postpone this year's edition, "Le Parisien" reports.
Roland Garros was originally moved to September 20, and now for another seven days, so it will start on September 27 and end on October 11, if, of course, there are any conditions for playing tennis.
The French Tennis Federation made this decision in cooperation with the ATP Tour, which began the process of creating a new schedule for the tennis season.
The media also state that it is possible that this move made room for holding certain tournaments on clay as an introduction to Roland Garros, such as Rome and Madrid.
