Rafael Nadal believes that all tennis players will have to be vaccinated against the coronavirus if they want to continue playing sports professionally.
Novak Djokovic recently stated that he is not sure if he will be vaccinated, even if it is mandatory.
Nadal admitted that everyone has the right to their own opinion, but that Novak's career will probably depend on the vaccination.
"I don't know. I'm nobody. No one can demand anything from someone, everyone has the right to do what they want, but if someone is part of the Tour - then maybe they should follow the rules if vaccination is mandatory to protect everyone. "Djokovic will have to get vaccinated if he wants to continue playing tennis at the highest level, just like me," said Nadal.
"If the ATP or ITF force us to get vaccinated in order to continue playing tennis, then we will have to do it. It will be like we have restrictions on taking drugs to prevent doping. It's just following the rules."
